Police STF Programme - Conservation of Natural Resources, on 24th February, 2012

An awareness programme on Natural Resources Management with special reference to River Sand Mining will be held for 50 police officers of the Special Task Force (STF) on 24th Febryary 2012. Officers from five districts will be participating at this programme with resource persons drawn from the University of Ruhuna, Geological Survey and Mines Bureau the regulatory agency for river sand and the Central Environment Authority.
